The Rhythm Atlas is hosted/produced by Denis McGilvray through NPR affiliate station Public Radio Tulsa in Oklahoma and also carried each week by KAMU Public Broadcasting at Texas A&M University. On this hour-long weekly program you'll hear an eclectic mix of music from around the world: African/Diaspora, Latin, Celtic, Québécois, Cajun, Zydeco, Indigenous, folk/roots traditions outside the US, genre-crossing global fusion, etc. (Please note that because there is an Americana/Folk/Roots program called Folk Salad that airs immediately after my show on Public Radio Tulsa, I do not play Americana on my show.
